Need Help Finding A New MMORPG

I have been playing the game Project Entropia for over a year off and on. For those of you that don't know anything about it, it is a real cash economy game where you can play with people from around the world. Lately the game has seemed to go from a fun environment, to just a platform to suck money out of your hands. So now I need a new game. I was scrolling through this massive game list on this site, and I'm not sure where to start. I've played wow before, but I can't play with any of my friends I've made over in Europe. So what I'm looking for is a fun MMORPG that I can play with people in Europe from. Any suggestions? I've tried A Tale In the Desert 2 and that was horribly ugly. I also dislike anime.

    The Saga of Ryzom is a French made game, and has servers stationed in France, the UK, and Germany.

    They used to have a NA server, but not enough people played, so it shut down. Check it out, fun game, with a bright future.

    Star Wars Galaxies has 3 or 4 European servers.  Chimera is probably the largest of the group and you'll often see it on an "extremely heavy" load status during the European peak times :)  I've stopped by on that server, was much busier then the server I'm on (Chilastra).

    Saga of Ryzom, plenty of europeans, excellent game.
