Any good Sci-Fi games out there?

I have tried almost every Sci-Fi game looking for the perfect one, eve online got me for 4 months until i noticed that every level 5 skill in combat took me 1-2 months to complete.

Star Wars Galaxies, got me the shortest time because it was one word in a nutshell TOO MUCH GRINDING!

WOW captivated me for about 5 months, being my all time best but it still became too repetitive with the instances, armour, instances and people who always tried to beg off me.

Planetside, thinking of rejoining, i always liked shoot em ups but my credit card is fairly empty so i'm thinking of holding on for a while.

And i am currently now addicted to anarchy which is good, because before their recent patch which removed a good deal of things from the game, it's gonna be a long haul.

And finally neocron 2, good gameplay but i think it's a little bit difficult considering your only way of getting good xp is to jump into sewers or fight hordes of muggers etc.

I know i sound a lot like a moaning freak but what i'm looking for is a game which isnt repetitive or just a little repetitive.

Anyone have any suggestions please?

I'm hoping somone comes out with a Serenity mmo. One where you can actually fly the ships with joystick and land and get out to do other stuff.

"I'm sorry but your mmo has been diagnosed with EA and only has X number of days to live."

Saga of Ryzom is a sci-fi Fantasy. Its based on a planet but theres a strong sci-fi theme, especially with the karavan. Worth a try on the 7 day free trial.

Star Trek Online seems to be the perfect sci-fi mmorpg. It's still in development though..

It's too bad that most of the mmorpg community is mostly into the medieval fairies and magicians. As if we don't have enough of that already.

I'm currently playing AO until a better game comes out but it's gunna be a while.

I tried EVE but thT was just a horrible game...

Not because it was hard though. It was actually pretty easy to pick up and do stuff. It was because it did't give me that sci fi feeling.

Agreed , X3 Reunion is going to be a wonderfull game :) X2 was great already but it lacked a bit in "life" , but X3 will have a whole new AI system that will make the game look almost as if the world lives a real life :) Cant wait for it already .. ::::18::

Was this before or after the CU (end of April this year)?  After the CU you can get to max level (level 80) in less then a week, just join a hunting group and Dantooine Mining Outpost and you'll see the XP rolling in.  Unless of course you were trying for Jedi, which in that case I have no sympathy :p

If I were to suggest a Sci-Fi game, which I am, I would say get something like a "city of-" game, or even something as simple as "TS future perfect".::::38::
