Takes to long... no fun in it.

in EVE Online

When i first started(trough a Trial account) it was pwnage rulzor:P but when u have playd like half year it gets booring::::21::.... if u want a little miner 1 u gotta travel like 11 systems that takes almost an hour, i think its a waste of time.... its no fun in it... [This game totaly sux] ::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::::::07::

    No one who has played half a year would be trying to buy a miner I. Stop trolling.

    Can be applied to any game so it ends up just being flaming.

    ???????? travel to get a miner I ???????? have you even played EVE ???and how in the world can 11 jumps take 1 hour ????

    Am I the only 15 year old with an IQ? I have yet to see one 15 year old post an intelligent post on this forum.

    Anyways, if thats your main gripe, then this game isn't for you. Better yet, MMO's aren't for you. You'll find yourself running back and forth through towns for about an hour in some MMO's just to do some stupid quest about a shopkeeper being too busy (And apparently to lazy to hire a sub while hes gone) and cant leave his spot, so you have to run back and forth from two towns, delivering pointless items and notes to one another. Its a Shit Or Get Off The Pot (Thanks NipTuck) situation, devote some time and effort or stop playing.

    In six months you should be doing 11 systems in 5 min. or less. Why fly 11 systems for a miner1 when it is newbee loot.

    If that is the best you can do you in 6 months Adventures of Cookie & Cream might be better game for you.

    What you have to love is the fact that he/she states he they have played the game for 6 months. It took them 180days of playtime to figure out that they didnt like the game???

    I do believe 11 jumps takes more than 5 minutes. More like 25 or so. Travel is incredibly slow in EVE, but that's just realistic I guess...But if It were me building all the space stations, ect, I would probably put them closer together right?  hehe...

    I beleive 11 jumps could take an hour or long in a mining barge. They should add wormholes or something to take you to different regions of space.

    Wow i recycle most pirate loot using good old scrap metal skill, every eve  player know's  there tech II mining lasers now and since many many months now,even now there mining barges.

    Exactly. Plus in EVE you can at least do other things while travelling around, like checking local markets, checking Assets, etc. Aside from the fact that travel can be made automated (at least in the safer regions), so you really can pay full attention to the other things you do.

    MMM yes... the inevitable post telling people they need to 'find something to do to pass the time' while playing a game.

    HMMM... isn't the GAME supposed to be what I'm doing to 'pass the time'? :)

    Don't get me wrong. I like EVE and play it on occasion. But telling someone to find something to do to pass the time in a game always kills me. LOL

    EVE is a group-base game not some cheap solo one. Why u spent 6 month of playing just to do all the boring mining lol. Join a good corp or alliance and you will feel EVE completely different

    exactly even though i used to mine alot when i started playing , i dont mine anymore no need too either am a mission runner for me it's my love to do so , dont get me wrong some do likeo to mine it's fast isk .

     

    To enjoy eve you have to find yourself a purpose an objective, pvp or not if you have no goal in eve you will find game bland and boring in a split second .

    Well it took you 6 months of playing the game... it just means it took you that long to realize that you hate the game!!! Gosh you must really like the game a lot... you just lost your touch so you got bored... geezzzz newbies

    Theres 70 thousand ::::06:: players that disagree with you ::::26::. I dont know what system your in but if you have to travel 11 ::::21:: jumps for a miner 1::::03:: then you are starting off wrong in the first place::::30::. EVE is really how you play it::::39::, if you choose to be a carebear ::::25:: and sit in empire for 6 months ::::12:: doing nothing but mining, then it will be boring. If you choose to pvp or pirate or join a good corp and have an attention span ::::06:: past that of a 13 year olds than this game is alot of fun.::::28::

    6 months is more than enough to have skills to pvp, hell 3 months is fine. If you with a good corp it really doesnt matter and you can pvp with a cruiser or frigate just fine. Plz do not come on these boards to bash ::::25:: this game when you know nothing about it::::30::.
