I just read how there will be an automated loot process in UOX. LOL, and ofcourse there is gonna be consent pvp and blah blah blah. I hope Dragon Empires and Darkfall rake in all the loot and clown games such as UOX gets shit in their pockets because of their stupid ideas.

First of all you don’t have to have it running.

 

But I see problems there to. Okay lets say I battle an boss mob with 20 or so underlings then I got 21 identical chest there and worst case I have to klick 21 chests to get the boss mobs stuff?(And how long are there chests there will they degrade while I am looking for the boss mobs chest )? Come on why not think further along this line an make an loot all button in 10m.

 

Personally I love if I could add filters too what would be automatically picked up to like eg. All items worth 10k maybe with and less weight than 10 kg even better all item worth more than 1000 per kilo. Some filter in that style to magical properties and don’t tell me that freaky nearly all players used these type of third party tools in AC.

 

Oh and about you belaughing auto distribution loot well lately It has become quite an issue in game and its an solution the offers comfort and more time for other thing. Also as I understand UXO will be quite fast paced so you will also be under looting pressure too.

yeah..very fast. to be honest. when i read your post i had not gotten yet to reading about the loot..but i acutally think that once getting into it the looting system in place will be very organized, etc.

its annoying when you try and loot and find that there is nothing there...

In UXO, when you kill a monster that carries treasure or gold, a chest appears near the corpse. Those without any looting rights cannot see the chest at all. Those with retrievable gold in the chest see a golden glow around it. Those with retrievable treasure in the chest see wisps of gold rising above it. So what you don't see, you need not investigate, and what you do see will contain something for you.)

seems to take care of that.

The auto looting is also nice....why don't you like that you can auto loot?

It's cool to me that they're trying out a different more integrated system for looting. i'm definitely interested to see how it all works together with the rest of the game play. and yeah they have been progressing amazingly well with this game.
