Looking for a new EVE online

Hi, I was wondering if there is any new mmorpg in development that will be similar to EVE, Flying around in spaceships and etc.
Or a mmorpg that is more like a strategic game, where you construct bases, build spaceship armadas and fight with them.
I’m only interested in visual game no text based or browser based games. And also it should be a pay 2 play game not a crappy free game.
Plz reply if you know about a game that fits into any of these categories, or is similar to what I am looking for.

    I have always viewed Dark and Light as being a land based Eve (but without the large battle lag) since you will have strategic settlement.

    Other than that nothing similar to Eve that I know of.

    There is a new game called "DAWN" by "Nice Tech coming out but your going to have to wait until 2007 (plus slippage)

    If anyone here remembered the Ill-fated 3rd space its very similar to that all in space but also you can walk around space stations ala E&B and planets :)

    Yeah, it's an entirely different beast from Eve, but it's in space and has unrestricted PvP (with RP consequences of course).
