I dont know...is there a link that I can go to update them??

CoV should tell you on the splash screen (bottom right).  I believe its pior to logging in, although  if not its on the character selection screen.  At least it does that for ATI cards.

I'm assuming since you don't know, they aren't current.  So simply go to the manufactures website and download the relevant ones from there.

But thats the thing I cant SEE anything when the game loads up...all I get is a black screen and no music...I mean after i click on I agree when the updater finished and the game loads up but where the login is supposed to be at I cant see anything...the whole screen is black but I can still hear music

I'd download the latest card drivers, then.  See if that clear it.

Find out what type of video card you have then go to their website.

EG. if your card is a Radeon series then you go to www.ati.com and look for the driver option (u cant miss this oin this site as its top of screen)

How do I figure out how to look at them?
  • FlemFlem Member UncommonPosts: 2,870

Open control panel, then display, then the settings tab. Usually see the type of card in the drop down box there.

Otherwise if you know how to, do a search or find file for dxdiag, when found open it and you can find your card type there among other things.

Theres other ways too i think to find out your card type but they are two off the top of my head.
