I miss Motorcity online

How about you guys ?

i missed the feelign of finetuning your setup and try it on racetrack .modify old scruffy looking cars to beat the best cars on the market . sure it had its flaws but looking back on it . it was really fun racing against your mates trying to beat the Best time of the week ..even if it was EA i think they shut it down too soon .. i still have the disk lying around .its kinda sad knowing that i will never be able to play it again .

well this post was to remind you guys who did play it .and hopefully try to bring back some good memories .

perhaps you can share your best moment of the game

I have a 1/43 scale '40 Ford Coupe sitting on top of my monitor.  I saw it in a store and it looks just like one of my favorite rides from MCO.  Sometimes I look at my old screenshots.  <wipes away a tear with an oil-stained rag>

Unless someone buys the lisence and makes American Graffiti On-line I doubt we will ever see a game like MCO again and that's a darn shame.

I loved taking a car that nobody else would drive and turning it into a respectable racer.  I never bothered driving the Corvette or Mustang.  But when I could manage to win a race with my Crestline or '55 Buick it felt like a real victory.  Not that it happened very often :-)

Yeah, MCO was actually lot of fun. I was in the beta, but then didn't get in the game, because they only opened US servers. I hoped they'd move with opening european servers soon, but you know what happened then. I miss the game and my ride there...
