So who has the oldest active account on this forum?

The oldest one i've seen is Serien..is there anyone who has an older account?

ya probably murt(serien for all you noobs) but anofayle is kind of old other then that some people who are inactive like dijin.

Ya, what was the story behind that whole name change thing? At the time I didn't really come to the forums very often so I have no idea what happened.

Im not entirely sure why he changed his name. but i remember dijin used to be admin and i heard something about a TV and a transaction. that someone got cheated on and as a result dijin was looked down upon.

however the only person who probably really knows all this is murt himself....

My account is a little over a year old, but until recently I mostly lurked, then I really started liking this community and kicked my butt in gear. But yeah, I suppose serien is the oldest, but their might be older, how old is Kiamde's account?

Djin didn't have an old account, I remember the day he signed up.

And for the person that said Kiamde, he signed up about 11 months after me. I remember his day also, haha.

I know I saw Flem a couple days ago, though he logged in for the first time in like 5 months... SD has just completely left for some reason, he's been gone atleast 6 months now.

I changed my name partly because of that, 'that' being that I was being stalked by some psychotic kid. lol -- and the other part being it was just WEIRD having my full name as a screen name on public forums, haha.

But yep, I still do prefer being called "Murt".

And Djin wasn't an admin. He was a moderator. I thought he was a good moderator, we had become friends. I was in search for a television at the time and he had offered one to me. I sent the cash - Djin disappears from mmorpg.com and never sends the tv. ...haha

But I digress, unless ya see a post from someone like Flem or SD in this thread, I top it. Admin obviously...but that's out of the question, haha.

nope he has more then 4000, posts over you he has reset his post count at least once probably twice.

yes murt and a lot of the mods have done it a lot of time.

do you really think  that murt ahs only had whatever he is at?

i have seen him reset it twice personally.....

and after 9999 it resets you back to zero then a post after that registers to 1. then u start all over again

actually I figured out the loop. It's not necessarily 'resetting' your post count.

You see a lot of older members like me (and others who are old...lol) lose posts by the hundreds because of a very simple thing I finally found out!

The threads, go look at the oldest one. Obviously it's after my register date. When threads that are really REALLY old are trashed from the site, the posts anyone had in them disappear from their count.

or so that's my theory through analysis -- which I really did! lol

I do not remeber exactly but back when I signed up, ( and there are not that many older active ), I seem to remember we had thousands of members allready, may even have been tens of thousands, as I said I am not sure.

Point of that is, were are all thoose people? How big a % of regged members are even a little bit active?

As a side not I saw someone regged before me make his first post just the other day..

So they may still be lurking..
