Well level up on PVE and end content PVP :P How it's handled in the mmorpg worlds! Just PVE and crafting does get boring.
What i loved about SWG was the fun PVP tounaments we used to hold in out cities.

yes 5 years ago there were mmorpg's with pvp but nothing like the games being released today where most games have tons of pvp content. people generally want games with more and more pvp content and less pve, and all that is where i came up with the label "next generation".
so if you find that offensive then you should really seek help, it is my opinion and never meant to offend anyone.
Yea there will be some PvP, the classes will be balanced to PVE though. Expect 2 or 3 "super" classes, and the rest to suck, just like EQ1. Not my cup of tea at all, it's PVE or nothing in this game.

A discussion like htis, is well. Anyones word is as good as any others, it all depends on when the game is released. I for one HOPE they will balance the classes correctly, but I KNOW they will not. You cannot simply make it a Level playing field in a PvP style of game, no matter what, someone will find a certain advantage, and the fact is, if EVERYONE WAS THE SAME, wit hthe SAME type of skills, that would be a boring game. And they cant do that, so they CANNOT FULLY BALANCE PVP No game has yet to do it, nor will there probally ever be one, unless they start nerfing damage on casters, during PvP fights, like they kinda did in EQ. (Taking away fear, and blindness)

i was looking into the game also, but then found out eventually that it was indeed pve focuses. that is cool if that is your thing, but for me, pve games are starting to get extremely old.
if you like to carebear, this game will be a good fit for you, just like almost every other game out there. if you like hardcore pvp, stop flamming/trolling the people's forums that do like it.
and for the record, i am a hardcore agressive pvp, but thats why i am chosing to wait for darkfall online . and none of this mixed pve/pvp stuff either, a game ussually is primarily pve or pvp, and so far very few games have captured true pvp quality in a fantasy mmorpg.

i have total respect for this point of view, alot of people feel that if a game doesn't fit their playstyle that they feel the need to troll and flame....i never have understood that.
however, what do you mean by "if you like to carebear"? are you saying that people that like to pve are "carebear"? because i disagree and honestly hate that label.
it just sounds like you are labeling people that don't like to pvp and insulting them calling them a carebear, not trying to put words in your mouth but one might assume you are calling them whiners or baby's because they don't like to pvp.
i am also hoping that some day darkfall might release and be a successful pvp game, i love pvp but i also love the idea of vanguard. does that make me a carebear as well? because i want to play a game that focuses on community and positive player interaction? as well as primarily focused on pve?
also i had alot of fun in eq1 on a pvp server, sure it was horribly unbalanced with no pvp content... but the battles for zone control were a blast and just added flavor to an already awsome game IMO. really though I'm not trying to turn this into a flame, just really hate the term "carebear"
