    No date has been set yet, Beta sign-ups haven't even begun. 

    "Sometime in 2006", is the most they've said.  If you ask me, I'd say a Fall/Xmas 2006 release is most likely.

    But I would suggest reading the FAQ before posting "does anyone know the release date", because not even Turbine knows right now, and its obvious that you won't get any information by just asking that question there.

    I acctaully think the game is going to be released in summer 2006.  I noticed on EB games webiste there date for LOTRO is sometimes in Feb.  But I know that's not true because beta hasn't begun and beta usually lasts about 3-6 months.  All I can say is be patient. image

    i was hoping beta would be starting in feburary 06 but who knows

      I was expecting that maybe July 2006 but my heart sunk when Slagg said Thanksgiving/Christmas 2006. He's pretty good when it comes to predicting news updates on the game.
