I'm sick of people judging this game based on outdated screenshots and fake NDA breaks. I have seen the game in action, it is good.
Believe me or not, I dont care, the bottom line is that it is November and SoG is due to release any one of these days / weeks.
how can you people can have such solid opinions on a game you haven't even tried?!. 
SoG will be free....... download it......... and JUDGE FOR YOURSELF
Do any of you even plan on playing the free release? Or all you all just going to wait for one bad review to show up and come straight to the forums with a "HA I WAS RIGHT IT SUCKED" post.
Christ, just wait a goddam month and form your own opinions. As someone else here said before, be your own gamer!

My entire point is to not believe everything you read, and to be mature enough to judge the game for yourself.

Why dont you wait for a month and judge the game for yourself, regardless of what I have said about it?

Personally, I'm salivating at the chance to play SoG, regardless of doubters or whatnot.
The lack of communication is a problem though.
i in the recent past have been extremely critical of this game,
but as of yesterday i changed my perception of this game and gladly wait for SoG and the release of DnL proper. I was and still am a beta tester of DnL, yesterday while "testing" it , it dawned on me while i was complaining to myself in my head about the combat animation and the ui which isnt the easiest to get used to.
I then thought about SoG and the future of DnL after its release and i realized altho it may be lacking in certain superficial aspects there is no other released game that could even compare to the features that DnL would have implemented at its release.
i mean really what other game will have you walk thru a field of wheat with an elevation of 3000ft when the moons are in a certain position that you then might be able to craft a sword and then have hired npc merchants travel from town to town so that your sword might sell and yield enough capital to raise an npc army to assault that fortress you've had ur eye on ?
In conclusion, I for one cannot wait for this game to be released

Seeing as how the actual release WAS technically delayed until April 2006, I have a bit more confidence in SoG coming out this month.
Its basically open beta.
Should be hard to screw that up, but you never know with DnL.
Too many deceptions, too many postponed dates from NP3, to
much misleading... i will believe
only when i see (and try) this (never to be coming?) game...

p.p.s. NP3 are a bunch of French guys and they ARE NOT BUSINESS-WISE AT ALL

Well if you're saying the game looks great based on the latest trailer, then I would have to disagree with you, but if you've played it in a beta, or something then I would have to say, "Ok then I can't agree or disagree with you, but I'll gladly wait until I see it myself."
My point being that if you're saying a game looks good, based on a trailer, then you are no better than people saying the game looks bad based on a trailer. So by you saying "wait and see for yourself" you're not exaclty waiting and seeing for yourself either.
Either way pre-judgments aren't good judgments, whether they're good or bad.
By the way I do plan on seeing the game for myself, and I have only posted opinions on "screenshots and trailers" and not on the game itself. However you say the "game is good." How would you know if it's good or not?

That is really strange. You have been skulking the boards since March 2005 without posting a thing until you come in to challenge people to play the Pre-DnL game, SoG? Now all 3 of your posts are here.
I am sure DnL will be fine. This tactic is kind of shady though. In some worlds it is called subversive, or even guerilla.
Anyway, my mind was made up before your post. I look at all of them.

Want to see something else strange? Go over to the DnL hype page and click on the user names that give the game high ratings and good hype. 90% of the posters have less than 10 posts LOL. Most less than 5. In some worlds that would be called loading the polls.
Anyway I will wait til the SoG release before deciding whether the game is crap or not. But I am not holding my breath on it hitting the streets either.

I dont know if you followed any other MMORG from its conception to its Gold Release, but chances are you havent, because you would not be saying that you find NP3/DnL Missleading, and diceptive, because they missed Announced Dates.... show me 1, not 3 not 4 not even 2, but just 1 MMORPG which has not had at least 3 missed Dates, ither for new screen shots, or new videos, or even patches/betas... and i can grantee to you, that you will find no such game.
NP3 are french guys and are not business wise?.... what do you mean by that sir, i think they are doing everything right so far.... Hiring a different company to just run the Customer Support/In game events, partnering up with a company from China to help them with Character Models and other such things, so devs can focus just on developing the game......
But none the less your opinion is yours and you have just as much right to say something on these forums as i.....
i personally am waiting for SoG to come out some time before the end of this month, and i will be ordering a pair of CD Keys as soon as the sign up page is up..... Enough Fan-Boy-ing for one night... gotta wake up for work 2morrow, good nite fellas and hope to see you all in dnl...

The animations are improving because the devs turned that rework over to another company which is redoing all the animations, called Snailgame or something...anyway they did the animations on the dancing orc video which is very fluid and accurate.
A mod at AD posted and said they will be redoing the rest of the animations during SoG before DnL is released and some have already been completed.
