Thats my life's soundtrack.
1. Johnny Cash
2. Black Sabbath
3. Disturbed
4. Elvis (you can't beat the King, baby!)
5. The Traveling Wilburys
6. Annie Lenox/The Eurythmics
7. Enigma (I don't know, I just like them)
8. AC/DC
9. Ramstein
10. Mozart (can I do that? Not exactly a band, but his operas were what originally got me to listen to the genre).
11. Mindless Self Indulgence
12. Fleetwood Mac (the first band I realized my parents and I loved equally, wierd at the time)
13. Tool
14. Billy Idol
15. Juno Reactor (like Enigma, not usually my thing, but I heard them on a friend's mp3 player once during a surreal homecoming in the middle of the night, after traveling hundreds of miles, on a long bridge with the moon on high and a few electric lights glowing soft white light and...it was at the right moment and I started listening to them).
I'd give honorable mentions to Rush, because I was a child of the 80's, and Glenn Danzig specifically for Black Auria, which provided an obscene comfort after one of the most dramatic and brutal experiences in my life, although I'm not a huge Danzing fan otherwise. Also Jimi Hendrix for being just damn fun to listen to.
If I had to make one off the top of my head...
Led Zepplin
Children of Bodom
Dream Theater
Megadeth
Rush
Stratovarius
Nightwish
Rhapsody
Iron Maiden
Therion
Sinergy
Van Halen
Blind Guardian
Sonata Arctica
Symphony X
Hmm,

Download Godspeed and fall in love with the music.
Cheers!
