In game shot of new Alliance race !!!!!

I found this on a german forum this week, I saved the picture but not the details of where I found it (aaarrrgghhh !!!!)

It looks like the panda race from the warcraft games and would fit in with most of the rumours I'm seeing.

TBH - I was expecting like ....... a panda, not a banded skin humaniod - OK, so I'ma little naive - LOL

has anyone else seen any other info - I'm dying to get more details ?

    I think that it's the Dranei, there will be the new race for the alliance ... Cuz the fit into the history, more than Pandas do ...

    Fake. The weapon icon at the bottom far left (#1 slot) shows an axe, And the character is holding a sword. That and it just doesn't have the cartoonish look of a WoW character. Nice try though.

    I like the Hero-Machine Avatar though.

     

    All I know about the Alliance race is that it will be an ugly one. Horde get attractive elves, so Alliance will get some monster/demonic looking race.

     

    Btw.... were the Dranei the other race on the planet where the Orcs came from? I can't remember.

    yeah Dranei are from the same place orcs are.  and if i had to guess the new race will be a reskinned model of something already present in the game.  blizz <3 less work.

    Goblins would be a reasonable race ... but not for alliance, i dont think... Although they are ugly, but they dont get well with gnomes, so ... Anyone has any pics of the dranei? Plus whats the story behind them (i dunno anything about warcraft storyline, except what I read in the WoW manual)

    What about high elfs? Are they realy extinct? could they be hiding in some forgotten dimension under someones rug?

    or how about kobolds? I know they are stupid but they would fit perfect.y: Alliance leader seduced kobold chieftane with promises of unlimited supplies of candle wax and gold dust (theyd just give them regular dust and paint it in bright yellow color)

    Or how about murlocs? OMG i wanna play a murloc so bad! Id make these GRAWLRLRLRLRLRAWRL noises everytime i start running like a duck when I run.... LOL

    Some nice ideas but:

    There are very few high elves left in Azeroth, only about 100-200, this is Blizzard's first stupidity thing in adding them as the Horde race.

    Kobolds are stupid, they also hate fscking everyone, and making Kobolds playable would require effort on Blizzard's part, High Elves currently don't, just using the Night Elves models with some red clothes. (Of course they could use the Kobold models right now, but shut up) And they'd have to remove the various quests that involve killing Kobolds.

    Murlocs would not join anyone, they are just too evil, and stupid, and their language sucks. Though they're not actually that stupid, WE DON'T KNOW!

    Yeah.


    EDIT: Oh yeah, and Goblins are pretty much Alliance/Horde neutral atm, and they don't like gnomes, so siding with the Alliance wouldn't go well.
