in EVE Online
I have some problems downloading patches so if i buy the cd version will it come with all the patches installed? If not what patch do i need to download?

The CD version was released only once, so if you buy one its still the old one from 2003 - i.e. you need to patch.
Get the one you need here:

This patch (first from the patch list):
Patches version release CD (Released 2003.05.06) to 2.08.3582 202 MB
Although at 202 MB I would recommend to download the current client here:
http://www.eve-online.com/download/ (500 MB)
