Tell me this isnt true.  The respec is going according to CL levels...

I am a master Armorsmith, Master Architect, and almost master Merchant...

Are they saying I will have to start all over?

If any current crafters have a Token Respec left in the current system, I suggest using it before the NGE hits to go CL80.  Even if you plan on staying a trader in the NGE, it'd be a good idea to do it just in case later on down the track you decide you want to respec into a combat class :)

Once a trader ( or entertainer ) in this new version of NGE, you cannot respec to a cl 80 combat prof, even if you start as a cl 80... once you respec "down" to trader you are stuck at cl 1, aren't you?

Ofcource you can respec back to a combat prof, but you will not be cl 80... thats what I have heard. I have come to understand that the NGE is not really skilledbased like the old SWG...

Actually, you can respec from a combat to a trader and then a combat again and you'll still be level 80.  The respec system remembers your original combat level :)

Armorsmith isn't looking too bad.  Armor isn't losing any stats, and it still has the same stat ranges.  The only difference is no decay.  Weaponsmith on the other hand is a different story, the only stats weapons keep is damage :(
