Question?

So lets say i have never bought this game in my entire life? But i went there and created an acount(which I did) and signed up for their free account, but you must do surveys every month to keep it free..(it says my account is a free one whenever i log on the webpage, and if even asked me to download their client to play).

So if i go download the client and try to log in, Will i just be able to play the game for free without any costs if i just keep doing surveys? Or do i just have this all wrong.

If you read all the other posts on this game I think you will start to get the picture on just how screwed up this game is compared to other games of this type (MMORPS).  If this is the first game like this you are playing them good news, it only gets better from here!

If you like free there are a number of other games that are flat out free or let you play for free for a certain time.  You may want to check out AO (www.anarchyonline.com) as they have a free offer going right now.  I am currently playing that game and it is a lot of fun and loads better that RYL.

It is simply not free like AO is free to play.  You must put a credit card on file and the survey thing is not ongoing, so you will be paying.  I was on for several months (got a free account for a year from work) before I got my first and only survey.  I was honest on the survey and have never gotten another.  I did finally several months later get credited for a free month but this is not going to sustain free gameplay on a monthly basis.  On the bright side, you will probably not want to play after being on for several weeks so maybe a free month is more like a lifetime free pass to the game.  LOL.

Well you did something wrong then, I've been getting surveys for a while, at least one a week, and I've nearly got the 200 points required for 1 month of play.

To answer the original thing. If you've signed up for the surveys, and created your account without putting in CC details, then you get your month, then when you've done enough surveys for your 200 points, which gets you a month, you'll.... have another month.

There is no free lunch :P.  I am not sure how the survey works, but the 1 million dollars skills based event ... doesnt make any sense to me.  I brought this game and I have been played for 20 days.  Bottom line, dont waste $
