Some players find fun in crafting, some in exploring. Yet a comited PK griefer would rather contract AIDS than do either.

I gotta be honest and go with Lineage 2 once you get to a high lvl PKING is the best! You kill and kill all day and annoy people haha! So good poll my friend!

EDIT: OK...I better qualify that...cause I'm not actually against all types of PvP, just the unstructured meaningless non-storyline garbage-PvP that leads to actions like the poster above mentioned. And especially if it includes loss of items and XP to the non-initiating player.
Lineage 2 would be the least fun game IMO. It's the game that opened the gateway to all the l2 clones out there.

Why is PvP ridiculous again? It's not like anyone is forcing people to pay for PvP games. Oh and I've seen your anti-eve "crusade". Consisted mostly of second hand rumours and hearsay and you qualifying yourself as an expert after having played the game for a couple of weeks. And what exactly is storyline PvP? Eve has a very thin storyline. The real story in eve is player created, player run and player decided. Ofcourse there are a few nubs who hang around in low sec systems griefing noobs, but thats not PvP. Theres no skill or risk involved in that kinda crap.

If all pay2play MMORPGs end up being PvP (or even the great majority...and this seems to be the way they're heading...unfortunately) and I want to play a MMORPG...then effectively I AM being forced to pay for it...correct???
RPG has to have a storyline! That's what RPG is! You can't RP into a void...if you want to play a PvP MMO...you should make a new genre MMOPVP (not you particularly...but you know what I mean...oh? there is one already...yes that's right...it's called online FPS!)
PvP is ridiculous in an MMORPG because people of a higher level can (and do in a lot of cases) prey upon those of a lower level...it's annoying...and to quote you "there's no skill or risk involved in that kinda crap". I even question whether there's much skill involved in two cap-level players going at it in an MMORPG either, as it usually just comes down to gear...if you want PvP AND skill then it's probably better to try a different genre. (And, as I hinted at above, NO I don't want to hear what EVE's PvP is like, and why it's better...cause if there's skills/levels and different gear/ships then that's STILL what its PvP comes down to).

As far as I've seen, almost all the MMOs out there only have Consensual or no PvP at all. I dont know where you get the idea that they are all heading the PvP route. RPG as in "Role Playing Game"? I dont see why you can't role play unless it's forcefed to you by the dev team. And before you jump on your "MMORPG" definition guidebook, I'll let you know that eve and some other games I know, don't claim to be MMORPGs, they claim to be MMOGs.
You've stated twice in your thread that you dont want to discuss eve, yet in your last sentence you needed to make a statement about eve thats not just false, but also proves that you have no idea what eve is about or how the gameplay mechanics work. Oh and btw, we roleplay quite well in Eve without having the GMs and devs babysit us or going around begging for them to make more events for us to participate in.
