Beginning today, as an added bonus for our veteran players who do not yet have the Jump to Lightspeed™ expansion (and thus, space content) we will be giving you this expansion at no additional charge.  This bonus content will automatically download to you upon your next log in to the game beginning today.  After all, space is more fun with other people to enjoy it with!  May the Force be with you!

If a veteran player doesn't have JTL by now, then something is really wrong lol.

I can see them foregoing wookies and obi wan, but SPACE? That's just wrong!

I think they are simply trying to give the impression of being nice guys while still being cheap bustards.

Hey my opinions are always right, erm that is, strong.

This is why I'm loved or hated. People either agree and say, "Here's a guy that tells it like it is...", or they don't and they say, "Here's a guy that desperately needs a kick in the pants."

Either way, SOE has come to really hate me lol.

When they implemented the statues for the past and current correspondents, somebody pointed out that Wepps was missing lol.

They're very shallow people at SOE. But I don't hold it against them. I just continue to point out what I think is the truth,and explain my reasons. If they do good, I give them thumbs up. If they don't, I tell it like it is.

Fanbois think I'm a hater at times, haters think I'm a suck up at times.

As to the NGE in general, I reserve judgment until it's all said and done 3 months from now when my subscription will expire (Once I create it next week). As to their methods of taking such actions, I think they are all-together run by a lunatic.

You aren't the only one re-subbing Wepps. A lot of people are, I would be if I wasn't already, it's an exciting time in SWG no matter how you look at it. I played for another couple of hours last night and had a real blast, pun not intended. I love space station gamma in the n00b part, yeah yeah I know it doesn't last forever; I can't wait to get to tatooine.

I like the vision of the NGE, once the mob AI is worked out and everything is in place it's going to be amazing, and if it isn't I'll find something else. Sad how some people dislike it and seem to stick around for months and years, if this is you I hope you see how sad that is.

What exactly do they mean by veteran players? I activated my account in september/october of 2003, but it hasnt been active for more then 4-5 months in total, is my account considered veteran or what?

After about a year away from SWG, I reactivated my account.

Why you ask?

Because of the more than one character per server change that is coming, the very thing that was so frustrating about SWG.

Anyway after about 2-3 days, JTLS was switched on (at first I couldnt use it) and now I am playing happily.

Lag for ground as got worse but JTLS runs beautifully with very little lag.

I got all the veteran rewards based on when I first started my account (to clear this matter up).

Having a blast, hope it lasts.
