what about a stargate mmorpg?

(first: Stargates a tv series on sci fi, so this would be sci fi)
It would work like this
You would do missions to find tablets with ancient symbols to open the stargate to find other worlds
(note: Their would be ALOT of worlds and they would be big)
On these worlds you would find temples and your job would be gathering infomation to bring back to earth, sometimes there wouldnt be temples and their would be dangerous aliens or creatures
so it wouldnt get boring, you would gain ranks and find money to buy new guns and stuff
For the non combaters
Their would be a medic to heal the injured when they arrive back to earth/scientists and other things
What do u think? Post other ideas here, I thought this would make a great MMORPG

Same with me, Sci-fi doesnt translate well to mmorpgs in my opinion, but if they were going to do a good one then you have the right idea. Stargate seems like it would be the perfect model and the other ideas you had are great.
