MMORPG......I need a... ?

You know I realised today that the game I most miss is Diablo!

The thrill of getting help from a bunch of friendly players, to beat that boss,  made the game alot more fun.

Having played Diablo and Diablo2 to death re-installing probably isn't an option, but I am finding that WoW etc become a massive grind and although D2 is a continual grind for items, somehow I still miss it? Odd contradiction isn't it?

I tend to solo alot and WoW is good for that, but I do miss being able to shout for help if I need it ala D2 and get players pop in to help with a boss etc. (not getting into the ole - if u like solo, play single player games then, debate here :)

Age of Conan is the next MMO that I'm interested in, but I have a feeling that it will become disappointing in the long run.
DDO looks nice but....not convinced just yet.

Guildwars....dunno can't get into it for some reason? Maybe over instanced?

Eve online....looks beautiful but plays sooo slow.

If D3 (if D3 is in development?) has a similar perspective like D2, tons of builds and items to collect and alter, a MMO player base instead of instances, and is both solo and group friendly then we may have a winner...for me atleast.

Just felt liike airing my thoughts :D

Roll on D3...

man i missed diablo 2  for a long time also, so i started playing it again.  If you like a game with friendly people willing to help out most of the time (as long as you dont say stuff like plz pzl and beg) Ragnarok Online is a nice game, its not really like diablo 2 or anything but it kept me interested for a long time. (and if you're into the whole party thing, ragnarok leveling ends up almost depending on partying, but at first dont expect to party as much)

On another note..I've never played this game... but i heard that the game "SACRED" is supposed to be like the diablo 3 that never came out...many diablo fans switched over to this i hear (and from what i hear its much like diablo).  Cant really tell ya much else about it, but if you realllly miss diablo that bad then i'd check it out (or just play diablo againimage)

oh yeah, here's the link for sacred online ( i believe the game's sold in stores )

or just google it or something :p

Thanks for the suggestion ttAtticustt about Sacred.

Got it to try today.......is ok, but going back to the shop in morning.  Not a patch on D2 and I have Divine Divinity which it reminded me of.

Ohwell, maybe I'll re-roll on WoW.
