Who can know, if you don't know... you know?
well, what are you looking for in a mmorpg? have you played any before?
if this will be your 1st, i might suggest World of Warcraft. its probably the best mmorpg for beginners.
What do you like....
World of warcraft is a VERY good choice.... modest requirements and a huge friggin world!
I think the GUILD WARS is a good choice if you have never played anything and want to give gaming a try. And it has no monthly fee...yippee!
No matter what you choose....
Find a group/clan that you enjoy and that is helpfull. Both of the above games have good communities but there is a lot of people that enjoy causing trouble. All good games take time to learn, and they all require you to be in a group to get the full effect of gaming.
Here are my rules I try to abide by while gaming.
FIRST RULE: HAVE FUN!
SECOND RULE: LET OTHERS HAVE THIER FUN!
THIRD RULE: IF YOUR NOT HAVING FUN... TAKE A BREAK.
FOURTH RULE: TALK WITH PEOPLE IN THE GAME!
