I totally agree, actually lvling yourself, by playing the game is the best way. You can learn all sorts of things about the ai, and the collition decection/ non-detection, depending where you are.
Except, that when most of the people, I play in cypher, are using KOSP, which they pay for.
So the question becomes who has the upper hand, the paid hackers or the KO team.
If I am being paid to hack a game, I can find wys to surcumnavigate any new patches or fixes the developers can come up with. Only becaue thats all I have to worry about. I dont need to make new features, zones, weapons, nor do I have to worry about hackers cause thats me.
No matter how much security you can place into a program someone will be able to get around it.
Ask Micosoft, they have unlimited resources and can't prevent people from exploting there software, how can we excpect KO to.
Now lets say KO had enough GM's to be one 24/7 they might be able to something about this problem, but they don't, and won't. Run around any of the hot lvling spots in Eslant or out, goto CZ and PK, goto wars, you will see macroing going on all the time. People myself included have shouted many coordinates for macroes and their names to no avail noone is listening.
The mere fact you can have an Inter-server war winner without 2 servers even competing should open your eyes to the real problem. Some servers get preferntial treatment, I guess cause they have more premiums? OK if thats the case make a premium only server, dont ignore me.
AND BTW, premium is junk, I have spent real $ on this game, for knight cash. I get no respect. The $ I spend equal to about 6 months of bronze premium, that was in less than 1 month. How can they ingore me?

In a way i agree... its real sad i mean, after 80% of the server is full (probably 3/4's of that IS premium users) and us free users cant get in... thats just sad i tell ya. So us free users have to wait (my time) till like 4 or 5 PM Pacific time. Thats just totally annoying. But in a way i still think they are trying their hardest, its not like they arnt trying. A GM cant see all over the map and every1 in it. Theyve got a character too, you just cant see it. But i think that they are trying to help every1 in 1 way or another. the extra 20% is for premium users so they get a good deal. Anyway, all im saying is that somethings are wrong and somethings are right.
l exactly understand how u guys feel and think but this is the deal. first lemme say this there are lots of corrupt GMs in this game . also there are arguements between Gms too. everyone blaming another. l could only advice this learn GMs mail or msn and report the one chating. he will be banned sooner or later if he is not a GM friend!! and if u wanna play at the cleanest server play at ares or diez they are the cleanest ones for sure
Hey, I asked some questions before now I have some more.
1. Is there any sort of guide for prices? I know of course that prices change over time and just looking around gives you a good idea but it would be really nice to have SOME idea. This would be especially useful for things like higher level DEX jewelry, Iron Bows higher than +1 and Chitin bows since these things are comparitvely rare. For example, I bought a DEX+6 necklace for 3mil. The next day I saw the same thing for 400k. It would have been nice either way to know if 3mil is way too much or 400k is really a good deal but those are the only two +6 necklaces I have been able to find.
2. I am a lvl 45 archer. How do you recommend that I make money? I have been farming goblins. I have gotten the goblin FP rogue pauldron a couple times which I sold for 20mil. That is good money but I have also gotten too many crappy armors to count. I can't sell it fast enough. I have been giving it away to noobs. That is pretty frustrating. I have been told to farm leeches for abyss gems but as an archer I can't compete with mages using AOE. Is there a better way for archers to make money?
3. Is it true that you are more likely to get better goblin armor from Proconsul if you are a higher level?
4. What does the Styx do exactly? How much mana does it take away? Is it useful against monsters as well as players?
5. Now I have Goblin FP armor for Pauldron, Pads, and Helmet and plate for Gauntlet and Boots. The HP bonus is really good but I have bought FP 7/12 on Pads and Boots to get more DEX and Defense. Considering I'm an archer and DEX seems most important, when do you recommend I stop using Goblin and switch to FP? Also, at what levels (assuming I have enough money) should I get Chitin?
6. Related to question 5, when I wear FP instead of goblin for those 2 armor pieces, I have 10% higher defense but about 16% less health. How important is defense related to health?
7. And finally, also related to question 5, I have 190 DEX and 82 HP. I want as much DEX as possible but how do I need to distribute points from now on so that I will have enough HP to wear chitin and chitin shell eventually? I don't want to put any points at all on HP until I need to.
1. man u definetly should stop buying and start thinking l 3m? omg pls forgive but l will laugh w/e enough laughing and lets get the point . first thing; dun rush on too much to buy items they will come to u sooner or later( not all of em of course) . +6 bonus stuff not very hard to drop any monster can drop it . second thing; dun even relly on that noobish stuff such as +6 dex belt or neck. they wont help u when u start pking. hit 50 get a full clan and go to boss hunts with ur clan so u guys could get uniques. learn to price? dun buy an item whenever u see it. just wait for 1 week look maradon every day and u will have an opinion about the price. beside dun think that some ppl are selling uniques. those uniques that ppl are selling is a shit. the uniques which are good not even get to merchant cus they start from a 1.3 millard. with lvl 45 what can u buy? some +1 chitins with dex bonus and if u got money buy some bow or daaggers. want some examples? when l was playing the prices in dies was like this : +6=100k, +7=400k, +8=3m, +9=15m. the prices gets higher according to the rare of the item. if u dun see an item or see few of em there is 2 answers to this. 1= item is not worth even merchanting, 2= item is too valuable that the merchants allowed money ( which is 999.999.999 gold) is noy enough.the prices l gave only to make u understand could change from server to server.
2.why u want to make money? u are only 45 go get lvl . when u hit 60 u will go to darkmares and get drop from them and will sell them . those drops will be shards ironbows etc. the best items in this game . lvl man lvl u will make money dun worry.l will explain it more when u get to 60. before 60 ur power wont be enoug to hunt them

4.styx used at pvp and takes away the whole mana of the oppenent. u cant use it to monsters
5.dun buy fp armors cus it will be a waste of money . u will use chitin in these lvls. dun know u can wear +7 at this lvl but use chitins fp armors sucks cus got no defense. ofc if u can buy chitin goblins buy the ones with dex bonus. cus not all of em give dex bonus
6.they both important make them as higher as possible . but when we think u are an archer that means u will use range att. so u will be attacked by the mages most of the time. so hp is a little bit more important. but both need to be higher

I am thinking i should stay heal/ buff till i level to mid 60's but i have no clue. i tried being a bp before i put all my exp skill to 76intel and the rest all str but i had such low hp i couldn't take hits. So can you give me some help on what item i need. I have a +5 iron impact but i need to sell that so i can restat again and get some items. i don't know how to get money but its so hard i lose everything at the anvil so i am very discourged to use it i had a 55 rouge but lost his weapon on the anvil now he has nothing so i can't even play with him but thats another storie. So i would appreciate some help. Also as a bp i would like to carry a shield and a weapon so i can have a little defence, but i will try anything. Thanks for any help you can give. I would like to keep a good conversasion going.
Hey, I want to ask your opinion on archer builds. I met a guy today who put 82 into HP and the rest into DEX. He wears FP 8/15. I have 90 HP now so I can wear chitin but I thought about restating. That would give me 8 extra DEX points. Also, FP+8/15 must be really expensive but I can't imagine what 8/15 chitin or chitin shell costs. If I buy chitin+6/10 (hopfully FP+8 is cheaper than chitin+7) I will have 25 less DEX points than FP. So, do you think the 33 extra DEX points are worth the difference in defence between FP and chitin?
1: ive got 124 int and 96mp but im putting all my skills in fire, am i doing something wrong? should i spend my money to rearrange skills?
2: is there anyway you can make a +7 to +8 weapon? and if so how?
3: nd lastly... at like goblins... does the drop rate of goblin parts lower? after ur past a certain lvl? for example ive passed lvl 42 and been jus one hit ko goblins for ages (kobolds only) and i havent got any parts for ages.

When i was in a party with my paper mage friend, I had figured this out becuz we were fighting Bugbears. When we killed them (both pof us lvl 40's) we got 2-4 pieces, not much tho cuz thats per every 5-10 aoes, and when we moved to Goblin Bouncers, we noticed more goblin armor drop. My theroy is that, yes, at a certain lvl, (like 40, just a guess) Kobolds stop droping and maybe even Bugbears stop at that level. SO that is my prediction.

Well... even i find it hard to get a +8, i made a +7 bow, but i tried again and it didnt work. YOu might have to but one or... just get lucky by spending millions of gold getting one. For example, if you got a Composite Bow you could go 3 simple upgrade scrolls, then 2... ill say this, Improved Upgrade Scrolls, second for of the upgrade scroll and then 1, and if lucky 2 Blessed Upgrade Scrolls to +7 or +8, total cost is about 4-5mil. So in that order you could have +7 with 1 blessed upgrade scroll or +8 with 2 upgrade scrolls if lucky.
