You'll have to buy it buddy. That's how they're coping with the no monthly fees, they release a new expansion at least once a year.

Yes this is just what Guild Wars needs, content like this to keep it alive and thus I'm excited. And yes it is real it has been confirmed on Guildwars.com and is in Play Magazine. I know I'll be creating an assasin that's for sure~

Yes it's true their offical website even says so. Instead of calling it an expansion they call it the next chapter and chapters will cost money that you will buy in the store to install to continue the story of Guild Wars.

sounds like they are taking the stealth skill that they intended for rangers way back in beta reworked them and put them in the new profession.

things they mention, "shadow this and shadow that" so looks like primary attribute going to be "shadow mastery" maybe?

she uses 2 swords so dual wielding swords, mentions throwing daggers probably a separate attribute, hmm overall sounds cool. they say expansion chapters will have as much content as original game and probably cost the same.

anyone know how this wil work will it be despensed as like updates or like a downloadable free expansion or a get in store expansion

p.s. better get a character will a good assassian name cause when it comes out the good ones will be gone

I highly doubt it will cost anything to get the new char. but you never know. i think its more of a promtion for more people to get into Guild wars.

Come on guys, why are you asking if the next chapter is going to cost money? A.Net's business model for this game requires that they make money off of the expansion packs / next chapters. NC SOFT has money but not enough to keep floating this game for forever. You do not need the next chapter to keep playing the game after the release, you just will not be able to get the new content (characters included). In order to keep playing this game for free, Anet will need to continuously create new content in the form of purchasable expanisions every 6 months or so. They will continue to steam more new info inbetween those packs but the packs (chapters) will always cost money. As long as they come through on the content side, I see no reason why each successive release brings more people to the game.
