Help for new char plz

in Final Fantasy XI

I'd like to know some advices on what races to use for the classes. I started a Elvaan warrior at friend's house until my copy arrives and I'd like to know what is good. Other thing, If I start a TaruTaru (or whatever it's called:)) and my friend starts a Hume for exemple, will we be able to play 2gether? And I'm from Canada. What server has most Americans/Canadians (I'm not racist, I just wanna play with ppl of the same time) ???

    Galka is great for melee classes, Taru's are great for casters.

    Yes you can play together with any race/class combination, just make sure you start on the same server in the same town =)

    Servers - Ramuh/Fenrir have a huge US playerbase

     

    Don't get excited about a tax cut. It's like a mugger giving you back fare for a taxi.
