Need help with guild wars

Ok i have a few problems with it here rhey are:

1. It takes 1-2 minutes to load a map even thouh i have broadband. my friends take 3 seconds to load.
2. I lag too much. i have figured i need a new GFX card
3. generally not smooth running. i probably need more RAM

Any help will be greatfully acknowleged.

    looks like you already solved your own problem. ;) the ram and gfx card are probably your problem

    oh yeah... but what about the long loading????

    if you have a bad GFX card/low ram, then it takes your computer longer to load things. get more ram and a better video card, and you'll be fine.

    ok ty :) il get some RAM and GFX for christmas.

    Tnx very much. and under further investigation i have found that i have the minimum requirements and possibly a worse GFX that is needed for minumum.. i supose my pc wasnt meant for gaming.

    depends on how old it is. if its a few years old, it probably was good back when it was 1st bought.

    512 mb of ram and nvidia 5200 and above are all good even though i dont recommend any of the fx series

    i'd get at least a total of 1gb of ram.

    as for graphics card, depends on what you play. at this time, i wouldn't go for anything less than a geforce 6800

    You really dont need a graphics card that is that new, because games are made for a graphics card that is 2 years old typically.  But if you dont hit the minimums then you probably should upgrade.  Also dont forget about processor, the processor speed also affects how quickly an area loads; and it can be quite expensive.  You can make a system with like 7 ghz processor but only 1.6+ ghz is necessary.
