The game has been dumbed down (crafting is finished) to appeal to the 10-17 yr olds who run around screaming I pwned you. If you think otherwise you should really grow up.
Combat system is more of a hack and slash than that of a mmorpg. (Think of a game with the worse combat system ever and that's what it looks like.)
Even if you are a new player trying this "Thing" I guarentee you it wont be long until Soe's incompetence gets to you. Just a warning

Its a mockery of First Person Shooters.
Number of professions reduced to a fraction of what it was before.
No more variety, you pick ONE profession and must stick with it.
Crafting is completely destroyed by no item decay.
Don't forget...
The free trial is nothing like the continuing gameplay. Prepare for the game to come to a grinding halt after the platform.

Yes beware, they made the game fun and an actual Star Wars game that involves you in the plot. Spooky!

the game dying...
1/ the new system have destroyed lots of parts from the original code
2/ when you hit a player at 1 meter you cannot damage your target because we suffer from 25/30 meters due to lag
3/ you can see 75% of population who are jedi..not realistic ( about star wars movies)
4/the craft will dying because the decay have been removed
5/ the combat chat have been removed... because the damage basis is not calculate by the weapons you use.. but by your level.
6/ and no communication from the $OE team devellopment.
