Lack of Games this Christmas

In my opinion, there is a DEFINATE lack of games this holiday season... I can remember last year, buying every game on the shelf, but, this year is different. Sure, there is COD2, and FEAR... but, thats about it. Here is my "Christmas List" from last year:
Flight Simulator 2004
SimCity 4
Sims 2
Everquest 2
WOW
CounterStrike: Source
Halflife 2
Battle for Middle Earth
Need for Speed Underground
Im sure there are more, those were just the games ontop of my head... Here is this years "Christmas List"
Pirates of the Burning Sea (yes, I know it comes out after christmas)
COD2
FEAR
I was hoping that FLight Simulator 2006 would come out this year... but... it isnt...
Can someone please post some AMAZING games comming out this christmas season? Because, this year, there is a lack of games...

Yea... But... even after all those games you guys listed... none of them are "Jaw Dropping" like last year.
Maybe next year, they will come out with FS2007, a new C&C, SimCity 5....
Maybe SOE will release SWG2 or something
"jaw-dropping" is in the eyes of the beholder. ALL of the games I listed is jaw dropping for someone

But my parents are kind of iffy on videogames. they kind of hate them.. prolly get a drumset lol
Fear is just as Jaw dropping as HL2......
and quake 4 is the best multiplayer FPS in terms of variety in gameplay since ut2k4.....
so a lot of the games are "jaw dropping" in their own right. Just they dont get the superfluous publicity Hl2 got(meaning i think it was overhyped)

Yeah.. If your a console gamer at all I would suggest trying the Xbox 360. Even if your not a fan of the old Xbox. Its very fun.. If you think theres a shortage in games to buy then you need to look harder.
