    So you have DirectX 9.0c ??
    Good chance you dont even have a graphic driver then,

    GOTO
    -Start,
    -Run,
    -Type dxdiag , and click OK
    -Click on the Display tab, (3rd TAB)
    -Click on Save All INformation
    -Get the text file (.txt) , post it here.

    I and probably everybody else can help you then.

    OK, It seems you have everything.
    The problem is you have a 16.0 mgb Graphic Card.
    You will probably lag on Maple Story I bet <.<
    The solution is to get a new Graphics Card

    @alexalex1423
    click Save, just incase something screws up when installing.

    @patheos
    64 is decent, I have 64 :)
    Though alot of RAM is needed.
    256 is pretty low nowadays.
    You cannot run most games on maximum graphics
    with 64 mgb though, so decreasing graphics settings may be needed.

    i'm sorry to say but with a Vodoo 3 you are not going very far... it is incredibly outdated card that even required a companion 2d board to work.

    Most modern games requires the video card to have "Transform & Lighting" functions as a minimum (probably more) and those started with the GeForce card (that is also incredibly outdated nowadays).

    Now... there is  good news and  bad news. A cheap video card do not cost much, at all. 30 dollars might just do it for the cheap of the cheap (a GeForce Mx4) 70 for the cheap version of more-or-less modern cards (GeForce 6200 or its ATI equivalent).

    Those cards are noway good and powerful, but they WILL run WoW most probably, or Ragnarok online or other not graphic intensive games.

    The bad news are that all this graphic cards requires a AGP slot on your motherboard to work and chances are, if you have a Vodoo 3, that your mother board do not have one at all. So you can't use it... requiring the purchase of a new motherboard... not very expensive either but it mounts up.

    As it is.... your computer is not very good at all for any kind of 3d modern game. Runequest might be just what you can run... Ultima Online might also works in its non-3d modality but that is all :P

    PS: Comparing videocards by the ram they mount is often misleading. I can buy a GeForce 6200 and a ATI X800 both with 256 Mb. But the former is a piece of cheap plastic while the latter is actually a decent board... same ram, an abyss in performance.
