Im coming back!!!

Well im done with WoW that game has bored me enough to make me switch to the best mmorpg out there. This is the only that i really liked out of all them i tried. Although a problem is i tried installing FFXI on my computer and it wont let me, i used this game b4 so do i have to buy a whole new game? if so thats really cheap of square enix. But either way im coming back, and once i get back into the game ill let you guys know what world im on so maybe some of you can send a linkshell invite! See you all soon!

um are you reinstalling the game or your Playonline account?

if you have a problem installing your playonline account then you need to make sure you are using the same one as before.  if that still does not work you may need to visit the square enix website

if you are installing the game and it wont work, make sure you dont already have the game on your comp...other than that i'm at a loss for words

I'm thinking of comming back also but i'm a big concerned with all the new added content. I got the game when it first game out in the US and was happy that there wasn't too much random content thrown around like other mmorpgs. Just crafting and questing and killing. I hear they added some other stuff since? Has it gotten messier and/or more complicated? I'm playing GW, WoW, EQ2, and CoV right now, really only enjoyed Guild Wars.  (I loved FFXI when I played it and just left for the simple fact of trying something new. Though FFXI in my opinion was the best experience with MMORPG I've ever had.)

 

And to answer the question after three months of it not being active you need to buy a new copy of the game. A friend of mine had to do that. It says it somewhere in the manual i believe. Kinda Sucky but it's cheap now which is good.

well the new content really was a couple quests that take new zones to do it in....in my opinion i think the game is still the same as it was before its just now you have more quests to do to keep the higher level people happy

Have they added more armor or things for lower levels or has most the content focused on higher level players? *still has nightmares of increase the level cap quest*

well they changed Leaping Boots, those are now dropped off a BCNM and Leaping Lizzy now drops Bounding Boots which do the same thing.  Same thing with Valkrum Emporer.

A couple things have been added for lower levels but they are pretty much so high priced that you need a higher level job to farm for it.  Most the stuff they added is rediculously good so if you get it you'll be happy.  I think most of the stuff they've been adding recently have come from BCNMs.

Hey guys im on Sylph, is it just me or is the game abandoned? Then again this is coming from someone who just came from WoW and Guild Wars.

not really , i play on ragnarok and there are everywhere people so i don't see it as abandon

WOW the most ironic thing happened. So when i came back i got on my old world. i was playing and some guy was helping me out, he invited me to his ls and i accepted. I found out that an old friend from the game is in the ls! so we met up again and it was awesome! i later found out that the linkshell i was in is a new version of the old ls i was in when i played the game a year ago. so i got back in the same ls and everything with out even trying. lol i find that so cool.

ohh man, i was gonna start playing it again, but when i finished downloading EVERYTHING, it asked me for the Serial Codes which are in the booklet that i cant find.. =(

does this mean i have to buy another game? well if you from Aus and know the price, can ya please tell me? thanx.. and is WOW better than FFXI?  which cost more per month?

Are you using the same play online id as you were before?  If you are then you dont need to put in the codes if not then you need the codes.

About the WOW vs. FFXI, that depends on how you like to play, if you want something easy to level to the cap and soloable then choose WOW, if you want something that takes a lot of work and partying play FFXI.
