I seriously have my doubt about them getting 100k on same world with a seamless world.
Funcom said they could put up to 50k on same world and that ended in alg and crashes.Granted it is 4 years ago but current games with under 5k or so per server that are seamless like WoW are struggling and lagging horribly.

The original scheduled release date was winter 2003 then summer 2004 then fall 2004 then April 2005 then November 2005 now April 2006...starting to see a pattern? Delaying a game until it is right is a good thing but how many delays to get it right? WTF they been doing over there for the last 3 years, perfecting snow shielding and hang gliding?
I never followed WoW that closely but how many times was the release date pushed back or any other game. I been around long enough to know that an announced April release date put on a press release a year in advance most likely will turn into a fall of that year release. But three years after the original announced release date, gimme a break here, that is just pure incompetence or laziness. If they are having that many problems just cancel the damn thing so we can all move on.

good point Black, except it is a jackass not a horse. Big difference though, I at least know I am a jackass for folllowing it, can't speak for Turkey or the fan boys/girls. Anyone following the game including me is a jackass I should have just written it off as vaporware last spring after E3, at the least the fanboys/girls have a excuse with their ignorance.
I do have one thing going for me though I am a jackass with 60 bucks not spent on SoG, although I ended up sending that and 20 more for two other games yesterday.

Back to topic: nice show of screen shots, and some informative facts about the game, that some people might've not know....
also, they will be able to handle more then 6k people on server, because they are using 'cluster server' not a single server to host the game....... and im not sure about the other game u mentioned, but im sure technology, if they used cluster servers that is, has imporved by now..... last i heard eve broke 17k mark on same server, but i dont know how lag was during this time, because i dont play that box.

Yes I did pre-order DnL, and i think this game will rock...I just hope in the long run they don't do what SWG did.
From what i see about the game so far i think it will be way better then SWG and EQ2 and WoW, and i will be on the Light side Hunter-ranger Half Elves or human.
I'm interested to see how they overcome the limitations of technology. EVE-Online is having serious issues as they near the 20k simultaneous user mark. The problem comes from the hardware side. I really hope DnL is that dream game that combines the alliance and pvp aspect of EVE with the questing and challenges of the original EQ. Theres so much more involved with DnL than there is EVE so you have to wonder exactly how they plan on pulling this off. In my head i'm thinking thats why DnL is still more myth than reality. I believe we'll see a scaled down version of DnL but not at all what they promise. I hope they prove me wrong because i really need something to play until Vanguard comes out.
