We all know the "subscribe to this thread" option, and frankly, it is an annoying option.

 

I have no idea about the amount of work it would represent, but maybe each user could have an option to "show all the messages I participate in" from the most recent to the oldest, a little like the most recent posts, but personnalized.

 

I am sure it implied a LOT of work, but I am also sure it would promote discussions, since often you just forget about this or that thread...in a list like that, you see them.

 

Of course maybe it is not a goal of the site to see me write more!  That would be, understandable!
