MMORPG's for 56k'ers

Hey could some1 give me links to some games that a 56k'er can play on.....and not some shitty 1's like runescape.....some like helbreath, legend of mir and myth of soma!

Agreeing with Square, I've played EQ for quite some time now with both 56k for the majority of the time and DSL. The only problem with EQ with 56k is that if someone were to pick up the phone, you will most likely get disconnected and would have to wait for about 3 mins to log back in. Your most likely though to survive the disconnection by just sitting down in game. Gotta pay with Everquest, DAoC and SWG though, bout 10 bucks for each.

i hate to play mmorpgs with 56k its bad idea once i was walking in eq and lagged and next thing i know i fell in a cany on in "the overthere" and got killed. o ya wtf kind of name is the overthere well when you think about it when people ask u where it is u can say its over there as a joke

Dont worry...the lag isnt that bad. It was just one experience for him, yet I couldnt say that I havent any any troubles with 56k also, but you'll live with it, its not bad.

Ive always gotten the best connections on 56k modems rather then my broadband.  While its a slower connection, it doesnt disconnect as much.

AC, EQ and DAoC all ran fine for me on a 56k modem.  It also depends ISP and whether you get good connection speeds with them.

I play all the mmorpgs I try on 56k.  For most I get as good or a better connection and lag less then most of my friends who are on DSL or Cable.  I rarely lagged in EQ and definately no more then the broadband people I know.

The only place the broadband is much of a benefit is with patching where on a 56k it takes far longer.

misti is right there....I remember with 56k I would usually have to keep the computer on overnight just to patch the game, luckily though I have dsl and is much quicker and can get it done in a matter of mins or couple of hours if its that big. once your done with patching though, you'd be fine.
