Okay - Julio Torres CANCELS G4 TV interview tonight...

Ladies & Gentlemen...Unfortunately, Julio Torres had to cancel at the last minute. (don't read anything into it, it's nothing)
However, we will be rescheduling him before the end of the year. Do not worry, we will be asking him some tough questions, although worded professionally. ; )

Hell, the very first promise Smed made, about keeping the communinty informed on what they were fixing and when, has been broken, why should anybody expect them to actually keep this promise?

I had hoped this man would have the gumpstion to field an open interview and our questions in a forum that is open.
The man had better of had someone die to skip out on an interview like this. It is the act of a coward to do something like the NGE then dissappear when your name is on the box.
Tough cookies. Take your lumps like you have made your poor forums staff take on your behalf. I want to HEAR what you have to say when the questions are not pre screened. I want answers. I expected soe/la to stand by this decision. This shows that the anti nge crowd not only has some very valid issues but that its cracking even the toughest managers into being scared of some star wars geeks and some g4tv nerds.
Julio Torres you messed with a game 2 years old. Now you have to answer for it and tell us all way its worth playing. I have yet to hear one argument that swg is worth playing now.
I hear a lot of 6 months from now the game will be good arguments. Doesn't do you or me any good though since this game is supposedly not a beta game.

So we all know by now that JUlio Torres cancelled his apperance on AOTS tonight!!! I see alot of people speculating on why such a move was made on his and SOE/LA's part. It was stone cold fear baby....WE ARE WINNING SWG VETS!!!! Were destroying SWG in the stores, on the internet, to our friends and family, and were shouting it from the highest peaks we can find. For 2 years now we have swallowed SOE/LA's constant stream of bullshit and now we have turned on them in one voice to say "THIS FAR NO FARTHER!" Keep pushing, keep spamming every forum you can find, keep spreading the word that there are better things to spend 15$ a month on then a game controlled by people that will fuck you over at the drop of the hat! If we can't have the game that we maintained and kept running with our hard earned dollars for over 2 years then no one will!!!!! Remeber one thing when you are going down in flames Torres, we did this too you. Our love for Star Wars sustained you and yours for the life of this game nothing more.

I had been looking forward to his non-answers/corp speak. /sigh
who really thought after seeing that AotS where people can call in live and wont screen the questions that he would go thru with it? every other PR method he uses is 1 way .. a few posts a moderated and screened chat .
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
