Hello,
We regret to inform you that Wanadoo France and Nevrax have decided to put an end to their collaboration. Wanadoo France is therefore no longer the publisher and operator of the game Ryzom in Europe.
This common decision has been reached because of divergences of views regarding the evolution of the game, as well as the postponed release date scheduled by Nevrax for the end of Q1 2004.
Moreover, Nevrax will proceed with the development of the game and be in charge of the Beta-test.
Wanadoo and Nevrax will ensure that the transition phase has as little impact as possible on Ryzom.s community.
In the following days we will forward you a communication from Nevrax specifying the process you can follow to register on ryzom.com, which you will need to do if you want to apply for the next stage of the beta-test.
You are no longer registered and you must field out the form to participate to the 2nd phase of the Betatest.
From today onwards, www.ryzom.com thus becomes the official website.
Thank you all for your involvement, and all the best for the follow up of the beta-test.
Julien Coquema
Ryzom Community Manager

I was thinking that Q1 of 2004 was always the intended release date...(I knew it sure as hell wasnt this December 1st)
This is realy no big deal. GOA and Nevrax were trying to go at different speeds, and it seems Nevrax would rather take its time and loose a publisher than rush things and screw up everything.
The only questions now are will Nevrax do a good job of community relations. And of course they need to find a new publisher. I'm not sure there's any need to hurry and find a publisher right this second though.
Hopefully they will do it right and not rush it like some companies do with their games.
