I have heard so many stories of those who were new to the mmorpg genre and have played this game as their first and still swear by it as their best.  Open pvp...house decay and looting...friends and enemies...and so much more.

MY first mmo was astonia 3, which i played since it's release and then on and off for 4 years.  Sadly, I have no epic tales of me being new and not knowing what the game was all about as well as the fun times i had.

I've been hopping around from mmo to mmo, still searching for a game to fulfill my style of playing. (i wont get into detail on this, as this is not important atm  )

I'm not too into graphical mmo's...as I have never played one that I have enjoyed.

So I come to ask, if you have never played UO before in your life and started playing it, would you enjoy it at all?(despite the changes made by EA). I'm thinking of trying it out
