hi all,
just wondering whether you'd mind sharing your wow adventures.
doesn't have to be a huge story but just like what you got up to today in the world of warcraft, getting it for christmas you see any advice would be nice too

I was walking thru silverpine, i'm a lvl 21 paladin, and my friend was behind me stealthed. So a lvl 46 shaman thought itd be fun to gank me, so he came up and i cast Divine protection, then my friend gouged him, and we both laughed at him and spit on him, then he killed the shaman in a few hits. That was mean, but good times. (we were talking on phone so it was easier to communicate)

I was playing this game in beta and thinking to myself. OMGZ I leik LOVE this GaME... It is so freaking fun and stuff.. I will have a great time owning people in PVP and spreading my name around the world, I leik will be the WINNAR!!! Sieging the silly Alliance and stuff.. Then one day a few months later after killing this rogue and watching his body dissapear I thought to myself.. This is pointless and silly.. What did I win?!!!?
Whats the moral of my silly story? PVP in WOW is pointless
Whats worse then that is a so called Carebear game like City of Heros has more meaningfull PVP. LAFF.

You see, every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with their surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You spread to an area, and you multiply, and you multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet.-Mr.Smith
My favorite part of this game was unistalling Carebear Online. Game was so watered down it was a waste of time and money. At least console games don't charge you 15 bucks a month to play medicore games made to be catered to the bottom of the barrel players.
If you like the game , great for you but for me it blow big time. No challenge or depth.
this is the kinda stuff im on about, thx for sharing it positive stuff people!!
Seems most folks like PvP stories so ....
My friend (Style, 41 Rogue) and I (Nylis, 42 Druid) were questing in The Hinterlands. On our way to do the kill x slime quest we noticed a level 52 undead mage. We stealthed and pondered whether we'd be able to take him. I thought I'd be able to land at least a few moonfires, doting him, but more importantly I could heal Style, while he attacked. So, we went for it.
On the approach, I noticed another group (/hug TrackerAssist) consisting of a 45 Mage and a 47 Priest. Oh well, Style had already opened on the 52 Mage. By the time Styl and I finished off the mage, the other group noticed the activity and started attacking us. Mad love to 'Natures Swiftness' : ) I got off a full heal and rejuv on Styl, while innervating myself. Of course the priest opens with Fear. So we run around aimlessly for a bit. Once Fear wore off, Styl was able to vanish and I went into Bear form. Styl was able to sap the Priest. Apparently the mage wasn't aware that druids could break their frost trap by shapeshifting, he wasted a good bit of his mana doing that.
Having dispatched a level 52 mage, the level 45 took little effort (especially since he was wasting his mana). Once we finished off the mage, it was the priest's turn. Man Alive! It took forever to take that fooker down lol.
Now by the time we finish with those guys, the original level 52 mage rezzes and decides to exact some revenge. Bad move on his part.
We spent the next 30 minutes or so going from the level 52 mage to the group of two. ^_^

Oh, cruel fate, to be thusly boned. Ask not for whom the bone bones. It bones for thee.
pretty cool! are druids a good choice then, like for my first class?
I have 2 experiences to share. The first is rather funny.. but also shows how Character level in WoW means quite less than i expected if you do not know how to use your class well.
Me and my wife (NE hunter nad NE Priest.. level... mah? 18?) were heading for Darkshire from Redridge mountains, when i see a Forsaken mage approaching from behind (i can track them as an hunter). He is ?? level, so at least +10 and we are nearing the town... so we continue running... bad move.
The mage blinks and is on us, he first blast me wit a single spell to about 20% health. My wife starts running (we are not used to pvp and a ?? pve mob means insta kill). the mage instead of finishing me off, runs after her. I gob down a potion and start bashing the guy. He kill my wife's char and return to me. At the end he managed to kill me, but with just sliver of health remaining...
Morale of the story? even if you are +10 somebody, take care as they can still hit you!
The second is my first Warsong Gulch battlefield. Same guys, one level higher, enter for the first time (trembling with nervousness!) in the battlefield. And wow! there is some disorganization at start, somebody yells, we are all in a raid, our flag goes there... then back... then there again... they score.. we score... 1-1 ball.. er.... flags to the center!
Then comes a very stretched out fight as both teams assault each other in the middle field, bullets fly, guys get frozen, taurens charges, dwarves get drunk.... the action got hectic. I consumed a good 2/3 of my total ammo in that battle alone... around 1000 bullets... but it was worthy! With my super fast cat and my concussive shots i was the nemesis of Horde flag bearers.. plus i did a decent job as a rear guard...
At the end, half the horde team drop out.. for some reason, the replacement are also quite aggressive, but lack coordination. in few minutes we score 2-1 and 3-1. Victory for the alliance! what a battle!
to answer your question, Druids are jack of all trades, combining a nuker, healer, warrior and rogue all in one package. they don't get all the toys of none though, but can be pretty effective in all forms. You basically get a warrior that can pops in caster form and dot the enemy plus healing himself... then back to bear.. or cat.
The secret is mastering your forms as a druid in a single form is just a gimped Mage/Priest (not so gimped!)/Rogue/Warrior. Not so gimped priest because healing seems to be our main role without forms.. so druids are healers on par with priests.. or almost. we trade a bit of healing power with better armor and mana regeneration talent/spell.
