Yes I do.. Ty devs and here I was thinking that I have to waste some points into a travel power so early on in my characters life.... Great Christmas present.

    Is that what Ms Liberty was talking about on the front page? I just recently came back after the semester being over so I missed a lot, but that does awesome!

    How do you get it?

    By being a subscriber. I originally thought I was going to go SS for my travel power since Flight was never appealed to me. But after flying around with this baby dont Flight I think is the way to go for me now...

    Personally I think the jetpack is kinda dumb. What about all the heroes that already have flight?

    I have a few flight powered characters on CoH and CoV. I still like the Jetpack. Its a nice gift from the devs when they didn't have to do anything at all.

    For the heroes who already have flight, they may appreciate the fact this power cost no endurance to maintain.

     

    I think it is nice, my only concern is all those temporary powers seem to be quite somework (Halloween, X-Mas, Snowball, quest temporary rewards) for a very limited used in game.  I dunno, but since the work is already done, maybe they should consider a solution to re-use it, not a lot, but enough to to make it worthwhile.  Maybe 30 minutes per day, at a random moment, your character would be awarded the right to use any temporary power they already got in the past or maybe every temporary power could be on a different random timer, so the more you have, the more chances you may get it back for 30 minutes or whatever...anyway, just my tiny little opinion.

    The Jet Pack is a great gift no matter what. Sure I have a LV 50 Scrapper with flight already but as I make new and low level ones the flight power is not an option at this time. From what I can tell you still get the Def bonus for the Hover/filght power an dwith no real end cost it is a blessing. Yes it is the same speed as a unslotted flight power and looks a bit goofy on a villian but hey .... I like it.

    Wow.. good point. Didn't notice that. Still get the flight defense bonus? If so.. that's at no END cost.

    Sure flight doesn't have any bonuses, just hover.   The jetpack is good for combat though, with having no endurace drain.  Keeps you out of melee range of most mobs, even if it does have supression.
