After many sleepless nights of searching for a way to access RFO in the philippines I finally came to this: It isn't worth it. Next week mmorpg.com will be announcing the winners of the beta giveaway and shortly after that codemasters give its own slots. From there on,it only a matter of little more patience 'till the closed beta begins. The reason I came to this was because I have been looking for phili proxies through scanning programs and haven't found any. And then there are doubts as to how the game will run.

    I longed for her beauty
    Yet from dust, she returned
    The dream, an enigma.... silent

Google for a ph proxy instead, took me some time to find a working one as well (also, it seems that there are probs when two ppl with the same ph proxy try to log in). Also, you might need the patched files which have been posted on the levelup forum (at least my client didn't patch with a proxy). Advise: after RFOnline is done patching and analyzing, disable your proxy so you got your fast internet connection while playing, there are no more IP-checks.

But it's true actually, there is no reason to work on a toon since Codemaster's beta is arriving soon.

You realize you are only changing the way Internet Explorer accesses websites? All the other programs you run will be directly accessing the Phillipines servers and will be blocked if they set up the bans correctly.

The IP is to a gaming server, or so, that is what I believe. Only have 1 reliable resource in the Philipines. And I highly doubt the Devs has got the time to hunt through all the IPs to find masked, and unwanted players.
secondly, I only try to help. After all, I'm excited to play RF, and gaves those who wanted to play ahead of time an option.

I used Charon to scan for proxies which in turn used google to search for active proxies. Before that I searched google manual. The whole thing just got too frustrating for me. ::::12:: ::::37:: Oh well, all I have to do now is cross my fingers for a spot in the beta.

It's an http proxy as it's using port 8080. You can find those all over the Internet...some are public.
