Dark and Light Beta Release (SoG)... Pushed back again... and why I dont care.

I know there are a lot of angry flamers out there and if you are one... just stop reading now because I dont like you and I wouldnt want you reading this post.
I'm in awe that 10,000 keys were gone in less than a min. I was at work earlyer, (I work in an office) and I had 2 keys ready to go incase one of my firends missed one (i'm a pioneer already) I finnished up an order 1 minute after the keys were launched and I didnt get a single one. 3 of my friends are in. 5 of my friends didnt get one >_<
This just goes to prove my theory that the majority of the community do not post in the forums. I'm convinced that 90% of the people that post in the forums are creepy, paranoid, conspiracy theorists. I even see some on these boards... saying that there really wasnt 10,000 keys XD. Sure there are tons of people that got more than one account, I would go as far as saying 1/6th were duplicates. only because of the fact that there really wasnt time to get any more than one.
I was also reading that it was announced the game will come out the 13th. That kind of ticks me off but that wont make me any less faithful to this company. They are very disconnected from the community sure, but I work for an online buisness and when you're piled with a lot of work... you really cant spend time with the community so I understand them 100%
I dont think SoG will be that great consittering it has only like 1/8th of the things the real Dark and Light will have in terms of features and such. But I'm confident that this game will re-define the mmorpg standards and will be one kick-ass game.
To all you flamers/un faithful/DnL haters... ,,|,, go to hell ^_^

It's the masked beta, which is exactly why it would be more of a different game because a lot of the content is not put in yet.
I know some people got multiple keys.. but not to the extent people were thinking. I had 2 accounts ready myself to give to friends that maybe didnt get it... and I got shutout myself. less than a minute late and I couldn't get one
I know what you mean. I dragged myself out of bed at 5 am to sign up for SoG, only to find that they were all gone before I'd even sat down at the computer.
Whether or not this game is a catastophe, it is raising awareness about the high demand for this type of game. I too am trying to be optimistic, however.
I'm not a fan or a flamer of DnL. The game doesn't really intrest me at all. One thing about your post that did stand out to me is, you said the devs are very disconnected from the community.... And you think having lots of work is a good excuse for that ?
If a dev team doesn't understand how important the fans input into a game is, then it's doomed to fail. I'm not trying to say DnL is doomed. I am saying if they continue to run the game like they have in development once the game is live, the large fan base won't stick around for long.
So basically what your saying is you hate anyone who dissagree's with you and your unwilling to see anyone else's point of view. Hmmm, sounds strangely familar doesn't it ?
Anyways, I'm happy to see you got a key I hope that you as a fan and your friends are happy with what the future holds for DnL and SoG. Best of luck.
