What I couldn't figure out is why they ever let harvs go "Condemmed" in the first place. I had a harv farm on lot trade that I couldn't get rid of when the trader quit over the CU. I TRIED killing it but I couldn't.
They said they were eliminating lot trades AGES ago to get rid of the farms.
There was a leak on houses/cities getting restructured too... bet there's a character purge before that.
You know what... If they THREATENED a deadline on the Character purge, many who are cancelled-yet-waiting for things to improve would be forced to come back lest they be deleted. If they had half a brain that'd do that.

I played SWG when it launched, and I stop playing because I dont like the SW ambient so much BUT
I always thought that SW players would like that game, I personally liked the professions tree systems and the way you had to develop several trees to reach "prestige profession"

I only have to imagine your favourite game that you like a lot for years and then someone say "hey! you can go to hell we going to redo all !"
I think I would be sooooo angry, I can understand that the old player base is so angry with them. Is a very dirty way to thank them to support them so many time and now "my way or the highway"

The game will recover the player base? I read too an article that says that the MMORPG games are in the hands of newbie people, basically who likes SW and didnt know the other game (because the SW I played WAS another different game) maybe would like this leveling, easy fast combat game.
Im sorry for the old players, some of my friends used to play, one of them stopped playing and tell me that he want to come back, but I doubt he will come back to this new game.

When I began playing SWG I knew I had found the mmo I was looking for. I was never gonna leave this game. BOY WAS I STUPID!!! I had just began to perfect my lvl 80 Commando/Rifelman and turning him into one bad PvPing mofo then one day SOE gets the bright idea, ( HEY LETS SHIT ALL OVER THE FACES OF OUR GAMERS) You guys have trashed this game and Im glad to drop it to never return to that shithole of a gallaxy.
Honeslty, I was gonna quit before the NGE. When I heard they were making drastic changes I actually welcomed them. But.....this new style is horrible lol. Don't say, if your new just try it. Its complete junk now. It was almost unplayable from the system they had before. And by the way, SWG was dying before the NGE. I was playing it since day 1 and out of the 20 friends and guildmates I had those first months, I was the only 1 left playing.
Thru all the bugs and fixes, i stayed hoping for a great change. This new SWG is Junk. My advice, Let SWG just die out. Its light is out and nobody is home.
Please, save your time and money. Pick a different MMORPG to play. Like previous posters have said, the communitiy is gone. Player Cities empty, no good crafters left, Guilds gone........Its all over. How you can mess up star wars?, i have no idea.
*** Oh one more note, i had 4 accounts. I was hardcore, if I quit, then there must be something wrong.
