EVE player's view of the SWG scandal

I don't understand how anybody can defend a company that explicitly claims it knew it would hurt it's players but thought it could make more profit.

Guys switch to EVE, you can't run around, but at least CCP direction explicitely says they put their heart in the game, and care about their clients and that was way before the SWG scandal...

The fighting has to go on to set MMORPG makers a reference. If you guys forgive, then it might become a habit for all of them to just think about profits...

I mean from what I read it's not even like the game wasn't making money, it's more like they wanted WoW type of money, and no MMORPG fan should let that happen.

 If Eve started a few months ago I'd play. Heard nothing but good about Eve, funny thing is I was even one of the closed Beta Testers but only tested it out for a few days and never joined. I just dont like joining in games that have been going on for years.

I do take games somewhat competitvely and well im not good enough to be giving people 2 year head starts...lol

I downloaded and right from the get go was being attacked by some thing or some jerk.  Was still doing the tutorial for crying out loud.  But I hear the customer service is awesome and helpful when you need help, not at their convienence.  Thats a plus in my book.
