Questions from a new player

Hey all! just ordered the game so it should be here for tuesday. I am coming here from WoW, and hopefully I can get a good few months out of this game.

First of all, is the game still well populated for its age?
Second will there be plenty of people willing to help?
Third, will my high spec pc make the game look better than WoW? I mean WoW was good, but was a bit basic sometimes in its design..
Is the community good? And lastly will I be able to have fun in the game? I know its a fairly old game as far as I know, so the servers arn't going to shut down anytime soon are they?

Lastly is there a good fansite with a popular forum?

hi there well if your new to ff11 welcome the game is certainly worth your money and to answer your questions here i go

1: it got a lot of servers with all have around 3000 players on at the same time most i saw was 6000 on asura witch i am on

2: most people are willing to help after you managed to get a few levels and gear on your own its not to hard to get started but most players tend to stop once they reach level 30 because it gets pretty hard ore at least harder so dont get scared if you cant start of good it will get better in time

3: ff11 is a lot older then wow but on some grounds i still say it has better grafics tho wow is the better in that

4: lastly i still have lots of fun i am playing for 2 years now currently only level 65 but i am a slow leveler i enjoy it and got lots of friends so i hope you will 2

Hey was good, well the Game rocks there are always alo of people that can help you just ask around i'll doubt the'll give you money though lol. well the only hard part about the game is getting gil as long as your not lazy you'll do fine.

As far as for parties depends on your job. by the way my in game name is Romer on Garuda server and i'm a level 44 THF 37 PAL 40 WAR.

If your ever on garuda server just send me a /tell and i'll be willing to help you out with anything. The game is very very fun even though the character creation isn't as deep as some games this game still has a great story, combat system, everything.

if you haven't decided which server you want to be on, you could create your character a few times to get on the Asura server (when you get in game you type /smes to see which server you are on i.e. hades, bahamut, asura, etc). I and a few of my buddies are on asura and we are all around level 5 which should take you no more than a day or two to catch up to.

economy is majorly fucked up once u get to jeuno and look up some items you'll understand wat im sayin

but than again i contributed to the fucked up economy...i partially benefit from it so its all good for me
