They had to rob the hamster off of the web server to get the game server going.

To ensure a better service at the time of the entrance of the first Settlers in SoG, the Dark and Light forum will be closed the 13th December 2005.

The Client Support will stand in for this service during this day. You can join the Support Team at this address : http://www.darkandlight.net/support.php3

The forums will reopen from the 15th December with new sections dedicated to Settlers of Ganareth.

Don't you think the fact that nobody could connect to the website because it was overloaded with hits has just a little something do with it?

they should have just moderated the forum so the CS could post info.  I'm sure they are getting killed with emails now because of the link they posted.

I was not expecting much from CS on SoG but a bit of communication would be nice.  Limiting it to IRC is kinda dumb.  Hope they learn from this before DnL comes out.

I hope taking down the wed server actually helps reduce lag in the game or your gonna hear b****ing tenfold when the forums come back up.
