Look at being a Pioneer as an investment in a stock

O.K. I am a Pioneer, soon to be ex-Pioneer when I reverse my credit card charge. But the way I look at it is like buying stock, except in the end, you don't want money, you want a great game.Pioneers paid $60 dollars, euros ect; to help fund this game, just like stockholders invest in a company, more funds means the company can improve and therefore make the investor more money in the end.Look at SoG as an unfinished product, a prototype of what the game will be when DnL launches.SoG was hyped as a stand alone prelude to DnL, not a beta. Now the server problems are understandable, I can live with that, even though they said their server clusters can handle 18k people easily. Now if a company sold you on their ideas of what they were going to have as a finished product, and you said, "hey, I'm going to invest and buy some stock in this", then they show you a prototype that doesn't even come close, you would wish you didn't invest your money. Now I know some of you still firmly believe that this is beta, well sorry, they sold it as a prelude to DnL, not beta. Also the people that say, "but it's free!", ok, what about how they stated that when Pioneers log into SoG they can't get a refund? If SoG is free, why wouldn't someone be able to get a refund after logging into it?Bottom line is, Farlan/NP3 needed money, they cooked up this SoG idea to get money, then threw it together really fast knowing the whole time their "prototype" was going to be horrible.Hopefully, they get their act squared away, and end up putting out a great game, I will definately buy it.But as of now, I'm taking my "investment" back.

Im pioneer too, paid 60$ as well, but im not worried at all.

I did not pay for SOG, as it is free. Well I paid for my pioneer dragon, u could say. But the dragon is there, has no bugs and is very cool.

I dont see any reason to ask back my money for something thats only coming out in April, when I cant play the first days of prelude...

Sorry my friend, but DnL will not launch in April. As for SoG being free, ask the people that paid with their bank accounts, or checkcards that can't get a refund after logging into SoG if they think it's free. Not a flame, simply the truth.

I agree with the OP.  That is why I didn't buy a DnL Pre-order account.  I wouldn't buy bad stock either.

Speaking of stock, you could sell your Pioneer Info on Ebay for $300+ easily. Any stockbroker would give their firstborn for a 500% return in a week.

Of course if you truly intended to get rid of your info, you would have done so instead of coming here to have a /cry.

Grab a tissue, I'll see you in game.

Crying, and speaking the truth, are two different things. As far as selling my account on e-bay, I wouldn't want a bad customer response on my record because I ripped someone off.As far as your feable attempt at flaming, see my post to the other clown above yours.

Indeed they are son. I spoke the truth, if you intend to reverse your charges, do so and STFU.
I don't think you will, but either way this thread is a pile of your tears.

If you don't want to play this game surely you have something better to do than whining on the game's forum?
