Game not in beta test and it will be ready 12/31/2005?

Its obvious this game wont go out to market this year if it is still in development.

    Rapid Reality’s first game, The Chronicle, is in the process of being ported to the Aura Game Engine Platform. The company expects a two to three month technology porting process delaying The Chronicle Beta till late January or early February, with a targeted launch date of the beginning of March.

    They said 2 or 3 months so one can deduce that it was 2006. But that was before they realized that they had no idea how long it was going to take them to port the game.

    Too much speculation over the game coming out....

    Where was it every said the game would be ready 12/31/05?  Oh yeah...by people not developing the game....

     

    So far the game is barely late....and everyone whining about it like spoiled brats...image

     

    Most games are delayed multiple times....and then they are released with the need for patches like a week later....get used to it...nature of the beast

    This is what in the software development business we call 'incompetence' :P If you have any idea about what youre doing then you know how long its going to take within a couple of weeks. Delaying games months is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of basic competence with the software.
