ok so I want an MMO that is different and sailing around instead of killing spiders is definitely it. My question though is I've read through the faq's and stuff, but either I'm not getting something or my guild isn't.
1.) Is there open pvp? From what I read it seemed as though the only pvp was during port sieges
2.) Ok so you do so PvE missions to make a port open for sieging...if you win you have to "sign a treaty" and give the port back to it's original owner, but your faction "receives points". Is it me or is this just some over glorified pvp system designed to make you feel good if you're in the leading faction.
3.) apart from your basic pve quests and the port siege system, is there anything else to do in the game?

[i]No, there isn't open PvP. But on the open seas, theres humongous PvP Zones where you can sink boats. Though, FLS can do a Open PvP server.[i]

[i]Devs havent yet annouced about that, but they've said that you will gain something if you sink a boat or pillage a town. So I'm guessing there's some kind of points.[i]

Anyone remember (or even hear of) Air Warrior 3? Used to play this all the time, and yes.. 1 of the 3 sides could actually lose. In the end, everyone would get reset after like a week or two, and it would start over. So fun.
