Which hardware to buy for better graphics?

Which hardware to buy for better graphics? I have a geforce 5900 and an AMD athlon 2700+ and i have 512 mb memory.

Which system could run the game better? Or will they com with better patches to let the game run more smoothley

For this game your going to need above 512mb ramm to store all the information for users around you.  You also might wanna beef up your processor.  An AMD Athlon 2700+ aint all that muich.  But your probably on a Socket A board if your using a 2700+, so you might as well get another board.   A socket 939 board will do.

Also if you get above 1 GB ramm your going to want it to be ECC.  Above 1 GB, transmissions start to degrade, and the ECC helps prevent it.

The geForce 5900 is almost 3 years old.  So you might wanna get  a new card.  But once again your on a Socket A;  Many vid cards converted to PCI-e, so your going to need a better board before you get a new vid card.  Also if you get a new board remember these things.  Get one with 4 dimms for ramm, and get it with 2000 mhz front side bus, with 2 PCI-e 16x ports.  

Hope I helped.  Also this isnt to make the graphics run better, this is to run the game on full graphics, you should be able to play the game with the system you got now with like 256 mb more ramm.

Before you buy a new card - I've talked to several people who have video crashes using ATI cards. I use an ATI card, and I have the crashes too. I don't know if anyone using nVid have issue with video locking up and game crashing with DnLg.exe errors, but I do know several ATIs.  If you are mainly looking to upgrade for D&L, then you might want to look at nVidea
