I'm telling you guys.. no matter how many stuff they say you can do in game, anything is based on the money you "donate". Basically if you don't donate you won't be able to own something cool unless you work for it for like 3 weeks and beg everybody you see. Why do this when all you had to do is spend 5 dollars and buy the items you wanted? this game is not so free after all.
Extremly slow. I played over 10 game betas months before they were actually realeased and they were fun to play even if they were a little buggy or laggy. The developers are actually letting you buy yourself into beta when they say the game is not playable yet.
Also as you can see the graphics are crap but they say they are "turned down" Well I got one of the best video cards in the market and I have played the latest games out there such as GW, , EQ2, BF2 etc, without any problem on the highest settings. This game having the worst graphics of any MMORPG that is going to be realeased in 2006 and almost any game in the last 4 years has the lowest Frame rate meaning it's slow and choppy as hell and I doub it would change much since its only like 4 months away from release and the graphics are "turned down"
Stay away from this pice of crap!!! im warning you! don't spend your money on this. The developers are unexpirienced and they basicly don't know what they are doing. They make everything sound cool on the "game features" page but making something sound pretty is different to make it look and feel fun.
I never signed any paper saying that I coulnt say what i felt about this game neither they are in my country to forbid me from speaking.

Interesting, a veteran of more than 10 mmo beta's but only got 4 posts on mmorpg! Go troll somewhere else please.
If you did actually try RV yesterday via pre-order it was bound to be slow due to the influx of new testers, the game also imposes severe limits on your character from the start & you tire out quickly & need to learn the basic skills to get started. It's not the most new user friendly yet, but the introduction of NPC masters will change this.
As for the money issue you raise, it's BS, people have played for months on $10 - so please do some reading up before you try and knock a game you either didn't try or barely tried.
[Edit] truth hurts. They had to delete my post.

Well I might not have a mmorpg.com high post count but that doesn't mean I don't have any experience playing MMORPGs.
If you don't believe what I am saying get into game with a brand new character and try to learn new skills, buy tools or anything without having to "donate" any money. It's just imposible unless somebody gives it to you for free. It's not like any MMORPG where all you have to do is get some item and sell it to a merchant and that way you get started. Here is pay us and get an worthless item.
Well all i can say is this game needs serious work some at its core(and i doubt they can repair that).
It plays a hell of a lot different from what it seems if you just read up on this game .
So even if you do have to donate money in order to play which you don't? It will be less than any monthly fee set by other developers for sure. And depending on your guild/community you can even make it so that you don't need money withing that group. It all depends on organisation, so...
What I mean to say by that guild thing is that you can set somewhat of a socialistic enviroment where each member makes stuff for free and recieves stuff for free. Surplus can be sold and the guild gets money to share amongst each others, so that way you get money without the need of buying anything.
I have played in the beta a little and I still have high hopes for this game.
Graphics are not everything if a game is well designed and has great depth and complexity that easily trumps eye candy imo.
I wish they would make some mmo's that were so complex and hard to play it would keep away little kiddies and such :P
You don't need any purchased money if you get yourself organised. It sounds like you are just looking for a free game anyhow. Although if you do choose to contribute, the amount needed to keep you going for the month is far lower than the monthly fee for any other MMORPG.
I see no problems with making a donation for the money as opposed to the subscription plans by most companies. With the subscription plan, you need to pay real money and still play for hours and weeks to get anything good. At least with this model, you can choose to spend the time, or fork over a couple of bucks. I prefer the choice of spending RL money if I want and getting something out of it instead of being forced to spend the money only to still need to put in weeks of farming and grinding to get anything of value.

Donating money doesn't bother me. But the fact that how much money you donate gives you more power over players that cant donate as much does. I like a games to be equal for everybody. I rather pay a monthly fee to pay a game thats going to be the same for everybody than play a game where "you are what you donate"
Your mind is like a parachute, it's only useful when it's open.
Don't forget, you can use the block function on trolls.
You might not get a super god's sword in this game but with the money you donate is how you buy stuff like you house, NPCs or anything you need to be powerfull in game.... so it's basicly the same.
For someone who's a veterian of 10 MMORPG Beta Tests you sure do leak information at the drop of a hat with the NDA still not lifted.
Sure, you may not have signed the NDA, but everyone should have received an email telling them the game is still in closed beta, and asking if they could keep all testing discussions in the private forums.
You did not pay for a beta, you paid for a pre-order. The invite to beta goes with the pre-order. If you bought the pre-order solely to get into testing... Wait for the game to be released, then your concerns may be valid.

Well when you'r making a free game you're bound to get people like Maurovz
Anyways from his first post you can see he doesn't know what he's talking about. I don't want to tell you what KFR and the rest of the team already told the community but suffice to say he got it all backwards, which I'm not surprised because kids (I'm sorry if you're not but then you must be really stupid) don't always understand everything.
And another thing, I don't know why someone feels the urge to make a thread in which he trashes everything that has to do with the game, if you don't like it just don't play. No need to ruin the experience for others, not to mention what you're saying is false.
If a fanboi can promote a game, then someone who doesn't like it has just as much right to denounce it.
"Free game", "Donations", I see the lies continue.
The game will cost money to purchase initially, therefore it will not be free and potential customers are well served if they can read differing opinions about a game, in order to help them decide wether to purchase it and invest their valuable time in it.
The VERM's success, is based on "Many" players purchasing in-game coin, and therefore not expected to be free for "Many" players.
