If the file won't work, just rename it and add .exe to the end of it.

ty i got it.. just downloading the patches.. the patches are even bigger than the download of the game itself

I was going in crazy circles from gigex, file planet, gamespy, ect trying to download the trial without paying those asshats a membership fee.
