which game you guys beleive should be made into a movie...im talkn about original idea mmorpg..not star wars galaxies, d&d, the matrix online (lol of course)..

Everquest or guild wars would be an awesome movie...

well lol the d and d movie wasnt a hugh hit ,but at least we got something.(u know what i mean)
besides the movies can be for YOU..meaning u shouldnt care what other people think,how much it makes..just how well you think the movie was and if it was entertaining.

I really can't think of an MMORPG that wouldn't make a great movie. Each of the "Worlds" or "Universes" created for these MMORPGs are quite creative and would adapt well to film with good solid characters and a good script.

But if I had to choose:

EVE for Sci-Fi fans

WoW for Fantasy Fans. I like the idea that the Horde is made up of races that are just as noble and good as those of the Alliance yet look like the typical evil monsters.

they can barley make good regular movies anymore, they have attempted to make movies based off FPS games, and failed, how are they supposed to make a MMORPG movie?!?!

well..they should use some story from the game..every games got a lil story right?..then take some races and make characters that are able to develope..(or maybe use some ingame characthers as well.) make them fight against the evil side(if any) the best thing about using the mmorpg as a movie setting is the possibilitys...u got a whole world..and as much back story as u need..(im talkn about stuff like EQ and WoW.
I think with enough thinkin one could be made great..kind like LOTR movies or something

Well I'm a scifi fan and since SWG is already a movie I would have to say EVE, would be cool to see a warcraft movie made like the W3 cutscenes though.

Definitely i'd have to say Planetside. I think you could really go somewhere with the three empires, a futuristic setting on another world, and the various options open to a directory. Plus you have weapons familiar to modern-day viewers, it would make a great action flick. If you were going to go swords & sorcery though i'd have to say WoW, simply because the world is so massive that any facet of it can be explored.

we could have (a human,elf and dwarf come together in the world of norrath to help a gnome wizard destroy
the magical bracers of power so that the trolls and ogres and the necromancer king doesnt rot norrath...lol
thats original..just think of what it could be...give me 200million and ill produce it..get peter jackson to direct ,have the eq soundtrack, and put jack black as an elf....=next december blockbuster!

I think a DAOC movie could be very interesting and I wouldn't be surprised if Blizzard pushed a WoW or Starcraft movie one day.

They should make EvE into a movie. For the first hour they could show a ship going from gate to gate. Then the ship could sit there and mine for 45 minutes. After all that a ship could warp in and kill him and someone could say over a com HAHA YOU GOT PWNED!!!111

Thier CG movies are already the best in the market. If only they extend it (the movie clips/trailers) to like 1 or 2 hours. I definately believe it would rock hard. Could even better than Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children
